Joy Ministries for Christ

After 20 years of using drugs and alcohol, many years of homelessness downtown Los Angeles, relapse after relapse I finally asked God to help me and I turned it over to him and I havc been DELIVERED for 4 YEARS! I lost everything! my home job, car, family, EVERYTHING, but I started committing my life to the life of a Christian and he has restored me with a better job, 2 cars and a husband! He restored my relationship with my mother, gave me a new outlook on life and I feel better about myself

I went through a lot of things in my life from being molested as a child to an abusive marriage and i found myself looking for love because I didn't feel love and I didnt even love myself and I begin to look for love in all the wrong places even to the point of having an affair with a married man thinking it was love but realizing that it wasn't after trying to find love everywhere in everybody and in a lot of things I decided to truly love God and allow God to show me what true love was. I found out that God loves me regardless uncondionally so I thank God for deliverance and TRUE love. one who would never leave me or forsake me, never hurt me nor lie to me, thank God for deliverance and true love.

 God has woke me EVERY morning, he's helped me with my situations when I didn't think I could make it through, he loves me unconditionally and still loves me when I do wrong, he's allowed me not to say "R.I.P" (Rest in Peace) to any of my loved ones yet and thru all of that I am still here today and he's guiding me to my future even though I know I am not always right

I thank God for FINALLY being saved, I use to think that just because I think about God that I was saved, I was out there on drugs and alcohol thinking I had God with me all of the time to find out he was only in my mind and not in my heart. It wasn't until my death experience that i really experienced God's power and that's when I knew he was real and I wanted more of Him, so I got REAL with God and he delivered me and now I stand today saved AND delivered by His grace THANK GOD!

I Thank God for what he has done in my life and helped me with my problems that I need help with and helped my mom survive cancer and not let her die and I thank Him and beleive he will give me a good future. I thank God for sending some good messages to me that I belive that will truly happen to me.

God has blessed me and my daughters relationship it is greater than ever, not only did he do that he restored me and my father's relationship after a 20 year separation! I use to be shy and withdrawn affraid to speak but now God has empowered me by giving me understanding of the bible and has taught me to trust Him more and have the faith in knowing that He'll will never leave us or forsake us, He's been my provider and a help with self control. God is still working in my life.

Through the separation of my children God showed me here at Joy Ministries for Christ how to stand on His word! So I stood the best way I knew how. Being at the church every time the doors opened taught me how to trust God through a difficult time. I endured court appearences, fruiltless visitation efforts, persecution and  many hours on trains and busess just to see my kids but through it all God showed me what faith, trust and endurance will do. God has restored my family to one roof and today we serve the Lord side by side. And I thank God for Joy Ministries for Christ for it is there that I learned to stand on God's word and recieve my life changing experience.
